The twentieth Century Fox output finds Gerard Butler portraying wave riding great Rick "Frosty" Hesson in the Curtis Hanson directed movement image.
Centered on the inspirational genuine story of browsing icon Jay Moriarty (Jonny Weston), "Chasing Mavericks" tells the story of a youthful man's quest to surf Northern California's most risky wave, and the community legend who will take him below his wing.
Also starring Elisabeth Shue, Leven Rambin and Abigail Spencer, "Chasing Mavericks" is slated for an October 26th debut date.
